Hi guys and gals, I don’t have a project or real progress to post at the end of the month, but it doesn’t mean at all, that I’m idle. Currently I have three big things going on which I would like to share:

  1. Fireball Games (small group of friends working on games) is slowly getting of the ground with quite a large project - Belfast. You can find some information about it here already: Belfast in Blog. It went cold for a while, but now it seems to be really starting and slowly forming into a serious project. I’m so curious what this will bring.
  2. I also started poking around the Unreal Engine. Since most game studios work in Unreal, I have to adapt. I have some reservations to using Unreal because of C++, which seems to me as very ugly and so verbose in comparison to C#. But… I want to make great games and great things takes great sacrifices, so I want to befriend C++ and start working in it again.
  3. Well, C++ itself. I’ve started parallel learning together with Unreal Engine to understand C++ better and become a good Unreal Developer as fast as humanly possible.
  4. And in that almost non-existing free time I continue expanding my knowledge of Unity as well, because I like Unity a LOT :).

So, that’s me right now. It would be so awesome if you guys share what you are doing, what paths you took and how it’s going!

Cheers!
